Crystal Lowe

                          
           
     Hi, my name is Steven. I will be talking about a fabulous, very talented  Asian-Canadian artist for Asian History month. Can you guess who this person is?... Well... it's Crystal Lowe! I hope you will learn lots about her after reading this biography.

      Crystal was born on January the 20th 1981. She was born in Vancouver British Columbia. Crystal's family backround is Chinese and Scottish. Crystal got married to Miko Tomasevich on August 8, 2009.

      She and her family moved to Hong Kong where she grew up for a few years. Now she is fluent in Cantonese. Crystal Lowe's career started off as modeling at the age of 15. Soon, she started to have an interest in acting. She became very sucessful. The first film she was in was, "Stargate SG-1" and her role was that of Nya. After her role in the movie, she starred in, "Children of the Corn: Revelation". In 2006 Crystal was Ashlyn Halperin in, "Final Destination 3". Her next role was as Lauren in the remake of  "Black Christmas". Just after "Black Christmas" Crystal went on to star as Elena in "Wrong Turn 2". She is considered a "Scream Queen" after her appearances in horror films and TV shows.

     In 2008 she was once again with her Final Destination 3 co-star Amanda Crew in the film," That One Night". In 2009, Crystal had a supporting  role in the action film Driven to Kill with Steven Seagal. She was cast as the female lead Rose in the film Charlie. She was Vala in in the 9th season of the CW show Smallville and in Sheldon Wilson's new TV Horror/Thriller movie Killer Mountain as Nina.
